As part of a nationwide program to upgrade 120 Work and Income Service Centres, NZ Strong completed nine interior renovations in the Auckland region. These include MSDs Orewa, Clendon, Papakura, Queen Street, Manukau, Manurewa, Mount Eden and Waitakere, with floor areas ranging from 400 to 800m2.

The fit-out included new meeting rooms, seminar and interview rooms, and security partition walls, as well as upgrades and transformation of services, and complete renovation and replacement of furnishings. Each project was completed within six weeks.

The work in the rented building was carefully planned to ensure minimal disruption to the ongoing operations of MSD. This included dividing construction into 2-4 phases and working outside of operating hours to minimize disruptions.
